Hello all. I'm wanting to buy an Ubuntu laptop and the Lemur Ultra from System76 looks very good. My only problem is that I live in the UK and I'm worried about shipping costs. Does anyone know how it would cost to ship a Lemur Ultra to the UK?

I'd be inclined to post in the cafe and ask for UK options - there are companies here that sell linux machines.

There have been other threads in there covering similar - my google fu fails me at the moment though.

The meenee laptop looks alright, but I think i'll buy some form of Acer Aspire One and install Ubuntu on it.

If that doesn't work well, I'll use Ubuntu Netbook remix. Thanks for the help.

Arm. If you want it sooner than 3-5 days, Arm and Leg. My Gazelle Professional cost about $40 for the cheapest delivery. They are good laptops, but delivery is expensive.
