Toshiba Webcam Driver

I recently received a used Toshiba Satellite A305-S6872 from a relative. Today I installed Ubuntu 10.04 (because I hate the Unity interface oh so very much) and I simply cannot find ANY Linux drivers for it. Not only that but I can't find any way to contact their tech support by email (already talked to them twice on the phone and they tried to tell me that Linux would break my BIOS). The thing I need the most is the webcam (everything else works just fine).

I have the A305-S6861, and I have not had luck with the Chicony webcam. Everything else runs fine.

The camera issue seems to be the same for many people.

Maybe you can get this driver to work. If so, please, let me know. I did not have success.
