    IDEs with Split/Multi View Panes

Greetings! I was wondering if anyone knew of any good IDEs that offer split view like Eclipse. I'd like to be able to view multiple files in one window. I've found a good list here: http://live.gnome.org/Gedit/Multiviews, but I was wondering if anyone knew any others!

I use Gedit for the most part, but it doesn't support this notion. If anyone knows a plugin, let me know, I haven't found any good ones.

    Thanks in advanced!

When I think of multiple views per window, I immediately think of emacs. It is not an IDE but it has far more features than gedit.

You've got Vim too, which is my IDE. And you can do whatever you want with them. For example, I have one frame for writing code, one for debugging, one for execution ouput, and can add anymore I need. And their size increases/shrinks depending on my current activity, which is greatly appreciated if you have a small screen as I do.
