Extraction not performed

Hi,
i'm trying to find the best distribution for my netbook nowadays. So I tested Lubuntu and I can say it's very good =D>
BUT I have a problem always if I try to extract an archive using drag & drop I become an error:

Extraction not performed - You don't have the right permissions to extract to extract archives in the folder ""

Only moving the mouse is then possible. No clicks! No shortcuts! I had every time to force shut down the netbook using the shut down button. The problem is not very rare (see here). How can I solve that?
I liked Lubuntu and I don't want to choose another distribution only because of this problem.
I am grateful for any help.


I'm using:
Lubuntu 11.10 Desktop i386
Tested on my netbook and on Virtualbox

Thanks everybody! That's very Helpful.

I'm using Xubuntu now and I have no problems with file-roller.

P.S. The problem still exists in Lubuntu 12.04 alpha.
