Question Set Libreoffice to use the metric system by default

    Hi All!

I need LibreOffice to use the metric system by default (for everything). I don't want to even see a unit in the imperial system. Is there any way to achieve this?
    Thanks a lot!

Re: Set Libreoffice to use the metric system by default

Open the Libroffice Help document and search for Selecting. The second line under the Selecting heading is Measurement Units. click on it and it tells you how to do it.

You open a writer document and go to Tools>Options>Libroffice Writer>General and set the measurement unit from the drop down menu called Measusrement Unit.

You do the same for each Libroffice program. Open a Calc document and so on.

    Regards.

I would think that if your machine was set to use metric measurements that LibreOffice would pick up on that.
Or didn't you want your global settings to be that way.
