What WM is this?

I am using Ubuntu 11.10 on a laptop. Originally I was using Unity, but I tried installing compiz to enable a different wallpaper for each workspace. It didn't work and my laptop would not boot into the GUI, so I had to run

sudo apt-get remove compizconfig-settings-manager compiz-fusion-plugins-extra

to hopefully undo the damage. It worked, however now i'm running a completely different WM (I think it's a new WM? Maybe using the wrong term?), which I enjoy, but I don't know what it is.

Can someone identify it for me?

Also, is it possible to have multiple workspaces with this WM? Thanks!
