Question Virtual host not so host but very virtual how to?

    Hi there,

I have a virtual host with Ubuntu, that means an ubuntu OS running over a virtual machine like VirtualBox or so.

Now, I want to, lets say, "split" it in somehow "morevirtual" hosts for customers.

What I mean is not creating new Ubuntu virtual servers upon the one I have, but just create an space for my customers in which they can have isolated services like web space running with apache2 server, ftp for deploying their website files, mysql databases, mail accounts, etc. and an interface like Plesk or so to manage these resources.

So the question is, is there any integrated solution to do this? and, in any case, from where must I start?

    Best regards,

Re: Virtual host not so host but very virtual how to?

    Hello,

Finally I'm in the way of what I want to do.

What I need is Operating System Level Virtualization:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operati...virtualization

I think I'll give a try to this:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linux-VServer

Although there are many alternatives. Has anyone try someone of them?

    TIA

P.S. Thanks for moving my thread, moderator.
