    Question evolution message-indicator?

Am I just missing something or is there no way to have the message indicator icon (that wonderful little envelope) integrate with Evolution? I know Ubuntu's moved to Thunderbird as the default, but my company refuses to enable IMAP--claiming it's "insecure"--and I have to use Evolution for its evolution-exchange capabilities.

    Help?

Thanks, qamelian. I searched for a package like that, but Software Center didn't come-up with anything... or I missed it! (The latter is much more likely.)

I have not been able to get this old functionality going either. Many things that worked fine in Gnome 2 seem to have been dropped in the Gnome 3/Unity "upgrade". Even the Evolution connector for Groupwise never made it to 11.10.

It seems full Evolution functionality has ended with Ubuntu 11.04, any release past that and us Evolution users miss out on things that used to work fine.

No, it hasn't. If you install the package I mention in my previous post, it works like a charm. I'm using it right now on the one PC that is still using Unity and it works perfectly.
