It's Ubuntu 11.04 and was installed as a simple clean home use installation. Now I need to convert it into a webserver to host my websites. Can any one point me in the right direction? A detailed article wouldn't hurt either!

You can breeze through Chapter 1 because you have already installed a working Ubuntu system.
