2 finger click and drag on Macbook pro 8.2 Ubuntu 11.10

Click and drag kinda sucks because you can only use one finger in Ubuntu. In OS X you can click with one finger while dragging with another. Is there any way to do the same under Ubuntu 11.10

I think the problem might not be the driver as multitouch is working. I think it's just configured wrong. If I click with one finger then place another finger down on the track pad it registers as a two finger click. I have tap to click turned off in settings so I shouldn't be experiencing this behavior.

Still have no idea how to fix it

Bumping and hoping for a solution. It's almost impossible to select text with one finger.
