New Laptop Recommendation

Hey everyone. The casing on the screen of my MSI GX630 developed a massive crack recently, and since the machine is 4 years old I've decided to replace it. I have been doing some shopping around, but if anyone has any suggestions that would be excellent.

Honestly, the 13" macbook is almost exactly what I'm looking for if it wasn't ~400$ overpriced. I 'm looking for:
* 13-14" screen
* Chiclet keys, large touchpad
* wifi
* optical drive
* webcam/microphone
* solid processing power ( I just need this to stay usable for the next 4 years)
* 6(ish) GB RAM

The smaller and lighter, the better. I'm sick of my bulky 15.4"
I don't need something with:
* extensive media focus (flash video is about as GPU-intensive as I get)
* numberpad
* operating system

Any suggestions are welcomed!

Also, has anyone used the System 76 Lemur Ultra? all of the reviews seem to be a bit old.

Also, do dell laptops still run ubuntu fairly well?

I have just got a Dell Inspiron n5010 and that seems to be running perfectly well out of the box (wireless included) using 10.04.3 - and thats despite my own considerable incompetence

Not sure what the rest of the range is like but this Inspiron works well.

thanks for the advice, but the dell models look pretty outdated and i couldn't find any deals on the Sonys (although they seem awesome). I think I will be taking this little guy home. Its a little bigger than I wanted, but it does have an optical drive and dedicated video
