Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You. - Dr. Seuss
Heroes the first season was good the second was ok and the third and fourth were not that great by comparison.
Did not see any recommendations for Eureka yet which is a show I have really enjoyed.
Warehouse 13 while not a show I could get into may be to your liking
Also check out The Librarian a made for tv movie/miniseries by TNT. If I remember right they have made 3 of them so far each have been pretty good once you past the made for tv aspects such as the low budget cgi and effects.

Wow, no FarScape?
Stargate, Firefly are up there too.
Also +1 to Eureka, awesome show.
Anyone heard about Lexx?

Nobody mentioned Stargate Universe, I liked it. Too bad the series got cut short.
Oh yeah, and for Mini-series there is "The Lost Room" (which I think maybe is based on an older book / mini-series?).

I felt the same way which was mostly a reaction to the pre-mature cancellation of Atlantis but once I actually sat down and watched it it was quite good and seemed to be gaining momentum when they decided to cancel it as well. Sadly it seems SyFy is content on showing only reality blair witch copies and wrestling instead of actual Sci-Fi shows which have/had good writing and acting. I just saw that they intend to cancel Eureka, their broadcasting decisions as a Sci-Fi based channel continually vex me.

Thanks guys for so many recommendations.
Well, Chris Carter always gets a pass.
Tried Warehouse 13 a while back but could not quite get into it, seemed kinda silly. I think I did watch a librarian movie one with Noah Wyle, I guess.
Not much into cartoons although I did enjoy Death Note and Avatar very much.

+1 for paradox... I was really surprised they didn't pick that back up!
Also from the BBC - Outcasts; really did get into this one... however once again it's been cancelled! this is a real problem with the bbc, despite putting it's shows out all over the world, it is only domestic, at time of broadcast ratings that will save a show, presumably as part of their endless war with the utterly un-watchable ITV (well since they put all their crime dramas on ITV 3) definitely a philosophy that needs to move forward in the times of Iplayer just for starters - outcasts seemed to be constantly in the most popular list?
