Question Anyone know a command for keeping cpu from going idle that working in OSX/Linux?

Hello, I need a command to prevent my CPU from going idle or I have terrible audio issues. Os: Hackintosh 10.6.8 on AMD. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Installing OSX on non Apple hardware is a breach of Apple's license agreement.
