Software to take over remote desktop

I'm doing more and more consulting work but find that I sometimes need to see my client's desktop to help them out. I would love to find an open source product that:

    • Allows me to view and take over a client's desktop
    • Works with all flavors of OS - Mac, Win, Linux
    • Does not require software to be loaded on the client software

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

I don't think this will work without software, even then you might have to get into static IPs and port forwarding them. LogMein has a 30-day trial and you can connect from windows or macs from anywhere, plus it can be web-based. You might be able to get an enterprise version for your company.

In my shop I now virtualize everthing

I manage Hyper-V clients with remote desktop

If I am using Red Hat or Suze I can use integration components

Unfortunately Ubuntu does not tow the line so I use Webmin for that VM
