    Question Alter Brightness

    Hello Community,

I have the following proble with my lubuntu 11.10 lxde distribution:

I'm running it on a ASUS EEEPC R101. Everything working fine so far, but there is no way to get the display Brightness changed.
    I tried
    Code:
    sudo echo 1> /proc/acpi/video/VGA/LCD/brightness
whereas my maximum value is 15.

I dont want my netbook running at maximum brightness all the time.

Perhaps you have any solutions for me. That would be very nice.
