    Any Linux ROM tools available?

    Hi.

I'm looking for any ROM tools that might be available in native Linux.

Something for rebuilding, or correcting, ROMs for home video-game consoles, portable systems, or even Arcade units.

Any suggestions? In the case of MAME, are there any versions with internal rom utilities?

Some Windows examples would be clrmamepro, and romcenter.

I installed Mame and GMAMEUI, there are a lot of games in the gui but none works, it always says "The followin roms were not found: ra1-2c NOT FOUND" and lists many not found items.
I did set the path to my rom folders and the path to mame as in the executable path...

    What am I missing?

I found where the problem was: permissions, it was user owner, I changed it to my username and voilà.
