    Attach app to launcher in 11.10

    I am new to ubuntu. I have created an app compiled with make and presumably installed with make install.
    The binary works when I click on it. How can I access the binary with the Launcher?

    Welcome to the Ubuntu community!
    Launch the app, reveal the launcher, right click on the app's icon, click "Keep in launcher" and when you close it the icon will remain there. Simple!
