    Kmail issue

Since installing Kubuntu 11.10 on one of my computers I have been happy with its performance except for one issue with Kmail. It will not keep pop passwords for the different accounts. Each time I log into Kmail I have to enter each password in order to check mail. Never had to do that before.

The password box is grayed out. However the smtp password works fine.

Is this a feature built-into the new version? Never had this issue before..

perhaps there is a setting to dissable it in preferences. There were some major changes in Kmail as i know.

I use Thunderbird instead. Seems to be a bit better. I added the calendar plug in to it.
Read the easy to understand, lots of pics Ubuntu manual.
Do i need antivirus/firewall in linux?
Full disk backup (newer kernel -> suitable for newer PC): Clonezilla
User friendly full disk backup: Rescuezilla

I've looked everywhere but can't find any setting..

Turkeybird crashes when setting up more than one account from the same provider so it's useless for me..

I've used Kmail for several years now and prefer it over the other email programs..
