    LSI 8344ELP RAID 10 on 10.04 x64

Anyone out there running an LSI 8344ELP PCIe RAID controller? I want to add 2 more SATA drives and go to a RAID 10 with a hardware controller instead of using the software based one. I have an open PCIe 8x slot that is wired 4x so it should work good with this unit. I am running 10.04 LTS x64 and want to make sure Ubuntu gets along with it. I found no other posts mentioning it.

    Care to share?

Also, what do you think about the LSI 8708EM2 instead?
