    can't force logout with this command. Needed to logout today and ubuntu wouldn't let me, so I tried this command in the terminal and it returned no results. Had to hit the dbus restart launcher to get out of it.

    That's odd. It works in my 10.04 install. What version of Ubuntu are you using ?

    11.10 - The command worked after a reboot, but I didn't need it at that point.
