LMDE either Gnome or XFCE

Been using Linuxmint for some time now.
If you think/feel that Arch might be a little bit too much, check out "Chakra" or Archbang" both based on Arch.

archbangs nice
Fuduntu is nice but things like broadcom wireless will not work out of the box.
PcLinuxos is very impressive. I've hesitated about doing a permanent install because of internet stories that their repositories have from time to time been unavailable. Also, it is said (correct me if I am wrong, please) that you must pay $25 a year to have 24/7 access to the latest updates.
Anyone have more details on PcLinuxOs?
Xubuntu 11.10 64 bit
@roja Broadcom wireless in Fuduntu does work, if not OTB it will with a quick download...there is a howto on the forum....for most, it would be no more trouble than in Ubuntu!
...It is a rolling release and it may have corrected your problem....when did you try it?

tried the factory, you have to be on your toes going that rout, tumbleweed is the way to go.
LMDE is a no-brainer, but if you're adventurous and want bleeding
edge that works "out of the box", Sabayon is worth checking out.
i have been using arch linux for the last month and i am really enjoying it.
after the initial problem just after install i have not had a single problem since.
it was exactly what i was looking for and suits me well thanks for the recommendations.
