    Mobile Broadband Connection Icon

    Hello,

I recently upgraded to Lubuntu 11.10. When I connect using a Mobile Broadband Connection, there is no icon shown in the system tray (next to digital colck). But, it use to show network monitor in the older version. Is there anything that I need to change to make the network icon visible for a Mobile Broadband Connection?

    Thanks in advance.

    Re: Mobile Broadband Connection Icon

I'm with you...have the same problem with update to 11.10 ocelot. The broadband wireless connection is made OK, but icon doesn't show in gnome panel, just a blank space to the right of the "battery" icon. When I disconnect (click on blank space), the icon displays ok. When I hover the cursor over the blank space, it displays an "active connection". Any ideas anyone??
