sync iPod nano 6th generation

Does anyone know a way to sync iPod nano 6th gen on Ubuntu Oneiric? I believe ligbgpod, which banshee (and other ipod managers like rythmbox, gtkpod, amarok and others) rely on, doesn't support this iPod version.

I'd like to know any workaround. Thanks a lot,

Only work-arounds appear to be install Windows in a virtual machine, dual boot, or buy a Mac.

Apple makes some cool stuff, but they are one of the worst companies for vendor lock-in and anti-openness.

Unfortunately, the developers will need time to code something for the latest generations of iwhatevers. Eventually they probably will, but for now, dual boot with windows or use virtualbox.

I just managed to synchronize my Ipod nano 6g with Spotify for Linux!
I confirm that banshee mounts the ipod and writes the files but the music does not appear

Unfortunately, Spotify is not available in my country, which leaves me with no options...
