I think an update or something has killed Samba on my Karmic box. it can see Windows shares OK, but it no longer appears on the Windows network. I have not changed my smb.conf for months, so something else has been modified.
Looking in the logs I can see the following in "log.winbindd-idmap" after restarting Samba

This is my smb.conf, as I say I have not changed it in months
Code:
[global]

passwd program = /usr/bin/passwd %u
passwd chat = *Enter\snew\s*\spassword:* %n\n *Retype\snew\s*\spassword:* %n\n *password\supdated\ssuccessfully* .
pam password change = yes
map to guest = bad user
smb ports = 139

username map = /etc/samba/smbusers

All other networking seems fine (internet, Synergy+ etc) it's just sharing out to the Windows network that is broken.
I've been searching but can't find an answer - anyone any idea what this problem is and how to fix it? Thanks.
