First Cup of Ubuntu
running 10.04 on a Dell netbook
I recently replaced my modem, and cannot connect with my netbook although both my windows wirelss (one on xp, one 7) connect no problem. I've formatted the drive and re-installed linux as well as the wireless card driver. The system sees the network, asks for the passcode (WEP) but will not connect. I know its probably not complicated but I'm to new to Ubuntu to know my way around...your help would be appreciated!

Did you try to do a search on this forum? There are a lot of similar topics: http://ubuntuforums.org/search.php?searchid=83697984. Please read them first. Maybe there's a solution for your problem given already.
