Ubuntu 11.10 will randomly wake up from hibernate?

Ubuntu 11.10 will go to hibernate, but will randomly wake up from it - sometimes it will wake up ok, sometimes it will restart... swap is over 3GB, I formatted it before install...
This happens with 11.10 Ubuntu only, my Kubuntu 11.04 works as expected - hibernates and wakes every time. I installed chrome only form an added ppa, but it used to work fine in 11.04
Any suggestions what might be going wrong?

Isntaling th the 3.1 kernel solved it.

How did you install the 3.1 kernel?

Download the one you want, and double click. It will install just like another deb file.
