Hi all,
I'm having a small problem when installing Ubuntu Server (11.10 and 10.04.3) onto an old HP Proliant ML370 G3.
I get to the stage where disks are detected, but then it simply asks me to select a driver as if the Smart Array Controller isn't found/recognised. At this point I select CCISS (as I believe it should work; it is listed as supported) but then after a wait on a blank screen, it returns me to the select driver screen again - as if the CCISS driver failed.
Does anyone know if any extra parameters need to be entered at the first installation screen? Or does anyone have any idea what might be going wrong? As I'm stumped!
TIA,
MC1000.
