Hi,
I got a digital audio player (iriver E 300) that used to nicely mount and be read/writable to from two different Ubuntu computers. But, since upgrading to Oneiric Ocelot a few days ago it is no longer possible. The device doesn't show up in Nautilus.
dmesg gives the following output:
Code:
~$ dmesg | tail
[94971.712512] scsi 6:0:0:1: Direct-Access iriver E300 0100 PQ: 0 ANSI: 0 CCS

[94971.745076] sdb:

Both computers have the same problem and dmesg give the same output. However, I'm not quite certain whether the problem arose right at the upgrade to Oneiric or at an update a few days later.
The DAP is accessible from a mac, so I do not believe the it's broken.
Kernel version:
Code:
uname -a
Linux tizoc 3.0.0-12-generic #20-Ubuntu SMP Fri Oct 7 14:56:25 UTC 2011 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Any advice? Should I post this as a bug?
