    11.10 double login

    hi everyone,

    I have a weird issue with 11.10 on my HP G6 Pavilion notebook. At the login screen, using lightgdm, I login as normal. Then my screen flickers with some text, then I'm back at the login screen again.

    Once I login for the second time, I'm finally at the desktop.

    Anyone encounter this issue? have any suggestions on fixing this double login issue?

    Im having the same problem on my desktop with the restricted ATI drivers. its getting on my nerves.

    same here ATI 11.11 drivers 6950 2GB
    Have a go at hacking with a Gnome version of BackTrack called GnackTrack.co.uk
