Hardy still getting updates?

So lazy! I haven't upgraded from Hardy to a new release yet but am still getting Hardy updates via Synaptic! I thought they were stopping in May of this (2011) year, right? So have I installed a root kit, instead? Got one very big, multipart update around a week ago, via Synaptic, and now some tzdata update is on offer via Synaptic, too. Are these legit? I'm using Hardy desktop version, btw, not the server edition. Thanks! - Ami

Server-related packages will receive updates through April 2013. (Support for desktop-specific packages ended April 2011.) So you will continue to see updates to the core system, but not the desktop environment, web browser, office suite, etc.
