Reliance netconnect+ huawei EC159 not recognised in ubuntu 11.04

I had recently bought a Reliance netconnect+ Huawei EC159 dongle to access the internet.
I had Windows 7 and Ubuntu 10.04 on my 64 bit system and i had installed the dongle on both the OS.
I then upgraded to Ubuntu 11.04 and now when i insert the usb device, it is not even recognised.

How do i install Huawei EC159 on ubuntu 11.04???
Please help me b'coz i need net connection to even download video and audio support.

You need the usb-mode-switch and the usb-mode-switch-data packages.
I've included them for you; install them and try again.

also, when i open disk utility, the HUAWEI mass storage is recognised as a CD Drive. I have attached a screenshot of the Disk Utility

You could also ask over here: rimweb.in. That site has a lot of Reliance NetConnect users.
