Hi people! I just want to share with you, last October 15 we held a release party here in Santa Rosa City (Laguna). It was great! Eight people showed up at Starbucks in Paseo de Santa Rosa, perfect place for a small group meeting!

We had short discussion about Ubuntu, its benefits and a little introduction to the community. (You can download the slideshow here). We also did a raffle where four lucky winners got their first Toyota (pillows and umbrella) before they even get to see Ubuntu in action. Each participant had a free CD (or maybe two?)

Overall, city folks thought the release party was a success and we look forward to meeting more often.
