11.10 Too slow after memory upgrade

    Hi.

I have a Sony Vaio VGN-FW170J, the standard configuration is with 4GB RAM.

I made a fresh install 2 days ago, everything was working fine, this release is very good.

Today I made a memory upgrade, now my laptop have 8GB RAM.
    I bought the memory from All4Memory (8GB DDR2-800 (PC2-6400)). The original memory is from Samsung ($GB DDR2-666).

I checked in the BIOS, the amount is correct and the boot proceed without any hardware issues.

But something really strange happen: the Ubuntu 11.10 (64bit) boot process became very slow, it's been 15 minutes and no GDM has show.

I open the tty2, the login shell was very slow, so was the `sudo bash`.

I checked the load and background process, everything is normal. Does anybody has a clue of whats going on?

ps: I found this bug, but now answer yet.
