Can't connect to wireless after 11.10 upgrade

Hi I have helped about 10 people after they upgraded to 11.10 and they still needed that code.
Type this please

modinfo iwlagn

into the terminal and next to parm it is listed as a parameter.

So it maybe be needed by some people and not others.

I went through the commands with the wire unplugged. After unblocking the rfkill list (which mysteriously had soft blocks on all three) I was able to execute the last command -sudo ifconfig wlan0 up. unfortunately my wireless still won't connect

Hi guys!

I have the same computer with exactly the same issue. I just wanted to mention that I tried the upstream kernel (v3.1-rc9) with no luck there either. I also wanted to mention that the iwlagn section of dmesg ends with a series of "fail to flush all tx fifo queues".

Hi, there are many networks in your area, which one are trying to connect too? Also we should try this, do not restart your computer after you enter the code.

sudo iwconfig wlan0 power off

if that does not help change your n speed in your router to b,g speed.
