Code:
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address 45.45.136.34
netmask 255.255.255.0
gateway 46.14.187.1
Can you please tell me how can I configure my computer and network so I can localise the server from the outside?
Thanks

your static IP address is not for inside your network, you apply it to your Internet facing interface, probably your router ?
Then you access your WAN static IP and have your router forward to your internal machine LAN IP.
