    Virtual Audio Devices

Hi All. I am looking for something like Virtual Audio Cable for Windows, or vsound for Linux.

Essentially, I have a program that makes audio on the sound-card, but I want to feed this as a 'virtual line input' into another program.

Can anybody suggest a method of doing this? Vsound looks like it used to do it, but it uses old OSS device nodes (/dev/dsp), etc. I just doubt it will work well with my Natty's sound architecture.

I also see references to packages like: snd-aloop and pcm-loopback; neither of these packages seem to exist in the repositories and so I am hesitant as to if they would work now?

    Thanks in Advance.
