Oneiric: making Thunderbird the default calendar application

    Hey everyone

I upgraded to Oneiric and noticed that Evolution is no longer supported. So I installed Thunderbird plus it's add-on Lightning.

Now I would like to make Thunderbird my default calender application. But the system information programme only offers the alternatives "Evolution" and "gedit".

Is it possible to change that to Thunderbird?

    Thank you!

I have the same problem. And also I was wondering if the reminders are going to be integrated into the system like Evolution had

I also have the same problem. If I have to, I won't mind having to open Thunderbird to access Lightning, but it would be nice having it integrated with the clock/calendar.

Maybe this guide could help, it's not necessary what I want to do (install evolution again) but for the sake of having the calendar in the date applet I'm willing to do it. Check the link:
    Replace Evolution with Thunderbird completely/

Thank you fcastillo. The add-on sadly is not compatible with Thunderbird 7 :/
