No one would even think about doing this, because everyone knows you need some basic training and knowledge. It is even frowned upon if you have no idea what kind of petrol/gas you are using and if you do not know how to check oil and stuff.
With computers? Everyone gets one and - as said previoulsy - expect it to run automagically like a toaster or microwave oven.
And if it does not they blame everything and everyone else but not the lack of interest to actually read or take time to learn.
I do not quite understand how those people actually end up using something else than what the computer came with (eg. MS Windows).
The only reason I see is that someone else told them to use Linux. But then I do not get how they were able to get THIS far and then are able to complain in the forum.
Do not get me wrong. There is still a lot of work to do with Ubuntu and linux in general. Its not perfect, no OS is. And I am sure certain frustration and certain questions are absolutely OK.
However, it sometimes takes a certain level I am not quite sure HOW this could have happend.
