moving files over network not using HD

So I am doing scientific research and I've rounded up a ton of old computers, and I am using ubuntu server on all but one. That one uses Ubuntu standard, it is the master computer. I need to move the program to be ran by all the computers from the master to each one. Since it is the same file I am moving to each computer, is it possible to load the file to memory and send it from there to each one, without reading it from the HD each time? Thanks in advance.

One more thing, I am still in the design phase, so please just let me know the easiest way to accomplish this and I can work it in to the design of this whole thing. Assume anything I didn't mention can be anything you want it to be (network infrastructure, hardware on the master, etc). The one restraint is that the work computers span pretty much all hardware that Ubuntu supports.
