I've got a problem that is killing me. I can't get Ubuntu 11.04 installed on my Macbook Pro 8.1 early 2011(i5), with OSX Lion as a default installation.
When I boot from the live cd, it loads as usual, but before I can try or install, it prompts to a screen which says:
initramfs: unable to find a medium containing a live filesystem
I want to run Ubuntu on my Mac, but I've googled and tried everything, but I can't find a clear solution to this problem. Is there anyone who can help me get Ubuntu installed?
