Exclamation Solved: v10.04 Update failed to find Samba files (404 error)

When I activated the Update Manager tonight, it found a slew of files for updating, including new kernels - 81 MB download. I told it to do it, and watched patiently while the files downloaded. Around 3/4(?) of the way through the process, it stopped to tell me the update had failed because files couldn't be found on the servers. Checking the list of failed files, I found they all seemed to be Samba-related. Given that some of the files had been new kernel files, I wasn't sure if the system would continue functioning properly if the whole batch wasn't installed at once. So, I cancelled instead of telling it to ignore the errors.

    Any advice about this?

    Solved.

I re-tried the update/upgrade tonight, and it worked w/o problem.
