    10.10 booting problems

    Hi, Im trying to boot from USB my Ubuntu 10.10 and so want to RUN not to INSTALL whatever...

    but see what happens to me what bootscreen apears like LOADING and I press ESC and shows this

    stdin: error

    SOME NUMBERS: end_request: I/O error, dev fd0, sector 0
    SOME NUMBERS: Buffer I/O error on device fd0, logical block 0

    please HELP

    fd0 is the floppy disk reader, maybe disable it into bios

    Does Ubuntu continue booting or does it stop there at the error messages?

    How did you create the bootable USB?

    I recommend UNetbootin in such situations:

    continues loading.... but doesnt go further...

    I created bootable USB with Universal USB Installer
