hello,
I've been having trouble installing a program on my computer due to dependancy issues. Is there something I can try or do that will work for any dependancy issues?
Thanks!

maybe somebody will help if you dont set your config/app issue as a secret
What program, and how are you installing it? What version of Ubuntu?
what do you mean by "don't set your config/app issue"?dino99:

I'm runing ubuntu 10.04 LTS 32 bit, and the program that i'm trying to install is inssider version 0.1.1.0429, and I'm trying to install it through a .deb file, because I have been unable to locate it in synaptic.gordintoronto:

use this one: http://www.metageek.net/products/inssider/linux/
download it into an empty folder, then into a terminal:
sudo dpkg -i *.deb
I tried to enter the command that you gave me; in my case, it's:dino99
use this one: http://www.metageek.net/products/inssider/linux/
download it into an empty folder, then into a terminal: sudo dpkg -i *.deb
ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ sudo dpkg -i inssider_0.1.1.0429_i386.deb
And the response I got was:
dpkg: error processing inssider_0.1.1.0429_i386.deb (--install):
cannot access archive: No such file or directory
Errors were encountered while processing:
inssider_0.1.1.0429_i386.deb
I put the file in a new folder, I transfered it on the desktop, and I even deleted another one that I had previously downloaded, so that the computer couldn't be confused with which one to pick.
Any ideas of what to do or what that reply means?
