Webcam form dell xps m1530 not working with ubuntu 11.04

Hy!

I've been searching all around the internet but found nothing!

the thing is that I installed Ubuntu 11.04 64bit few weeks ago and now, I want to use my webcam with the skype and it doesn't works.

I installed cheese and it doesn't recognize the webcam.

Does somebody know what to do?

Webcam, that dell used it, is creative. It won't work on ubuntu. I'm not sure know why. for sure thing is that driver does not suppose ubuntu as well Mac. Possible not work with Unix.

so it's not possible to fix it?
neither using some script to redirect the mac of whatever needs to be changed?
