Skype disappears when dragged Lubuntu 11.04

When I drag Skype, sometimes it just disappears/quits( it's not merely minimized), and the status icon disappears. It's not moved to another workspace; it's wiped off the face of the Earth. I have to start it up again.

Eclipse just disappeared once when I clicked on a source folder in a project; again it wasn't merely minimized. I have to start it up again.

Any idea what's happening?

I'd appreciate if you provide more details.
What do you mean by "disappeared"? do you mean the icon is gone? or the program is no longer running?
