    Resume on Lid Open

    Hey,

I'm running Kubuntu 11.04 on a Samsung Series 9. When it's not plugged in, I have it set to automatically sleep on lid close. This is working fine. I would like it to also resume when the lid opens. I haven't found any obvious way to do this. Does anyone have a solution?

    Thanks,

    Nir

What are the symptoms, what is the system doing when you open the lid?

I mean, there's no real symptoms. When it sleeps, opening the lid just doesn't do anything, which is to be expected, because I haven't set it to do anything, because there doesn't seem to be an option for it. I was wonder if there was some way to do it manually (editing a text file somewhere or something).

No, that should work out of the box, at least it does on my laptop. Can you wake it up by pressing a key?
