Manual Install (no .deb pkg)

I'm trying to install Telekast on Lucid and I'm pretty sure I've done this kind of install before but I can't remember.

Here are the files that were in the tar file:

chrome
defaults
print
teleprompter
xulrunner
TeleKast
application.ini
GPL-2.0.txt
license.txt
MPL-1.1.txt
readme.txt

I put them all in directory in my home directory, made sure that TeleKast was executable, but then nothing.

I also did some searches in the Ubuntu forum for manual installs of software but (although I'm sure I ran across it a few months ago) I can't seem to find those tips in the Absolute beginner section.

Can anyone help me with installing this and getting it running?

The source code does not need to be compiled. So, you can run TeleKast straight from source if you obtain XULRunner™ from Mozilla's Web site or use a source download which includes XULRunner

I have the XULRunner 1.9.2 XUL + XPCOM application runner ... Is there something special I have to do?
