Anyone here "shade" windows? On previous versions of Lubuntu, you can move a shaded window and it stays shaded. On 12.04 when you try to move a shaded window, the window opens instead of staying shaded. I tried all the settings (that I never had to touch before on 11.04 and 11.10) and nothing fixes it.

I just got a chance to install 12.04 and loved it until this problem. I use a lot of open windows, and shuffle them around shaded from project to project. It may be minor for most people, but it's a deal-breaker for me.

So, does anyone here know a fix?

Don't quote me but I've heard there's a bug in 12.04 with the Unity WM.....try another WM.

Preferences -> Customise Look & feel -> Window Border -> Title Bar

Add S to Button order. (Put it after L)

That just adds a button to the Title Bar to shade the window.

The window still won't stay shaded when moving.

Never mind. I fixed it by reinstalling Lubuntu 11.10 and giving the Lubuntu 12.04 CD to the local landfill.
