Not sure of my theme/icon/etc setup exactly, but its a loose mixmatch of whatever Ive downloaded. I get most of the wallpaper from deviantart.com

I believe the rules say "go easy on the pictures. 80kb max".

Not everyone is broadband powered . And even us, bittorrent@max speed + big **** pictures dont like each other.

If only the host was fast.... I have 3mbit and those piccies loaded as i was using dialup again >.<

Considering that I (nor all the other people linking images to this thread) never saw these "rules" maybe they should be posted in a more prominent location? Theres nearly 1K posts in this thread, certainly theyre not buried in the middle somwhere that Ill never see...?

Not sure what you mean. The host of my images is on a 100Mb/s switch... plenty fast.

What he means is your pictures are in the 700+kb to big for the web, they should be optimize for the web down in the 100 kb give or take a few for faster loading, I have dsl didn't take to long but long enough.
Now the person with a 56k modem will be... well let say not to happy over 1.4 mb to download very slow for him.

Yes very annoying.
I have dsl thus Im always downloading something, at it was painful to watch my connection scream just to get 2 pictures.
