System Load Indicator for lubuntu natty compatible?

    so i used these commands

    sudo add-apt-repository ppa:indicator-multiload/stable-daily
    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get install indicator-multiload

the the directions say: And simply launch System Load Indicator from Unity dash. Eventhough System Load Indicator app is equally good, I prefer Sysmonitor Indicator for its simplicity.

how do you do this in lubuntu natty? i dont know where utility dash is.

in lubuntu add the indicator applets, then go to /usr/share/application & find it, double click it.

it's in the menu under system tools-> system load indicator

just added it to mine, you'll need to add it to startup if you want it on start.

    Hello kerry_s,

Is this package for monitoring CPU, RAM, etc?
What's the difference between this package and the native apps which is installed by default with Lubuntu?

    Thank you

    Thanks for the clarification
I don't need that extra step at all. I'm happy with what I have by default in Lubuntu. All what I need to add is few simple things like Firefox.
